Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman are what some people consider to be a Hollywood Power Couple. Newman and Woodward shared the screen more than once in films such as 1957’s The Long, Hot Summer, 1961’s Paris Blues, and 1990’s Mr. and Mrs. Bridges. They are also the second Oscar actor and actress couple in the American film industry after Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh.
