Jack Lord, was an actor for TV, Broadway, and film. Jack finished his studies at New York University under a football scholarship, where he graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. During his time making maritime training films, Jack became interested in acting. Eventually, he landed roles in stage plays, including The Travelling Lady and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Afterward, Jack landed film roles in Dr. No, The Red Menace, and Williamsburg: the Story of a Patriot.

However, his portrayal of Detective McGarrett in Hawaii Five-O became the most associated with him. Back in 2008, Jack’s former Hawaii home was sold for a price of $800,000, which was less than a third of the original listing price. It was a beachfront condominium in Kahala. The 3,500-square-foot property features two master suites, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large living room.
