Born on December 4, 1937, in Oakland, California, USA, Maximilian Adalbert Baer Jr. is an American actor, producer, comedian and director. He is well-known for his role as Jethro Bodine in the TV sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in philosophy. After The Beverly Hillbillies ended its TV run, Baer focused more on his other passions.
He eventually wrote, produced, and starred in the 1974 film Macon County Line. The following year, he also released The Wild McCullochs. Max Baer Jr. might be a big name in Hollywood, but he is quite a private person.
