Born on December 28, 1954, in Mount Vernon, New York, USA, Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. is an actor, director, and producer. He has received much credit for his work. Most of his roles are characterized as the protagonist, who possesses or develops a sense of dignity, humanity, and inner strength. His most notable film appearances include, 1987’s Cry Freedom, 1999’s The Hurricane, and 2000’s Remember the Titans. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in 2016.
Eventually, Denzel also gave filmmaking a shot. He directed 2002’s Antwone Fisher, 2007’s The Great Debaters, and 2016’s Fences, which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture. He is currently residing in a 1.5-acre property that is in an exclusive and gated community. Not that much is known about its interior, however. Outdoors, the property also features a pool and a tennis court.
