David Attenborough | Approximately $1.16 Million, Hertfordshire
Sir David Frederick Attenborough has had a profound interest in the past ever since he was a child. He would collect fossils, stones, and natural specimens as a hobby. This hobby of Attenborough’s grew along with him, leading to his degree in natural science. Traces of his childhood passion can be clearly seen in his shows like The Amber Time Machine. Attenborough eventually became involved with shows like BBC’s Life series, Animal Patterns, and the 1971 documentary film A Blank on the Map.
In 2017, it was reported that Attenborough’s family mansion had been converted into apartments and was sold for approximately $1.16 million. The apartment has three bathrooms, three bedrooms with a master bedroom with a Jacuzzi, and a private entrance. The house has been owned by the Attenborough family since the 1870s.
